Bratislava Christmas Markets

22 November – 23 December 2013 daily from 10:00 to 22:00

As always, this year the Christmas atmosphere will enter our capital city with everything
that goes with it. On 22 November, the lighting-up of the Christmas trees on Main Square
(Hlavné námestie) and Hviezdoslav Square (Hviezdoslavovo námestie) will announce
the start of the Bratislava Christmas Markets!
This year, Bratislava will not stick to electric lighting only. On the contrary, the Old Town will be
richly illuminated also by fire-crackers, and the Christmas Markets visitors will even attempt
to jointly set new slovak record! The Bratislava Christmas Markets have become a
popular occasion for the Bratislava citizens to experience the Advent spirit directly at the his-
torical heart of the town. Come and be one of them!

The Bratislava Christmas Markets are well-known for their original culinary offer of gastronomic specialities. Its character reflects
the traditional national and regional gastronomies. When looking for some Christmas-typical refreshment, you can choose from
different meet specialities: roast meat, roast sausages, goose liver, roast pork knuckle, cabbage-filled potato pancakes (lokše),
